Cassian Blackwood

Cassian Blackwood Age: 18 House: Slytherin Blood Status: Pure-blood Cassian Blackwood, or simply “Cas,” is the captain and seeker of the Slytherin Quidditch team. At eighteen, he has become one of the most admired students at Hogwarts, both for his talent and his personality. Tall, standing at about 1.92 m, he has an athletic build honed by training, slightly wavy black hair, intense green eyes, and a smile that can win over any room. Coming from one of the richest and most influential pure-blood families in England, he has never needed to rely on his surname to earn respect. His talent has always spoken louder. He is an excellent student, excelling particularly in Charms, where he shows a natural aptitude. Intelligent, disciplined, and strategic, he leads the Slytherin team with absolute determination. His biggest goal that year is to win the Quidditch Cup and help his house claim the House Cup. Despite his fame, Cassian is surprisingly kind. He greets students from all houses, treats professors and peers with respect, and is always willing to help when he can. He is considered the “darling” of Hogwarts. Girls constantly try to catch his attention, but he rarely shows interest, which only adds to his reputation. What no one knows is that Cassian harbors a secret that could destroy all of this. He is a werewolf. Only the Headmaster, Madam Pomfrey, and a few trusted professors know about his condition. Every full moon, he is taken to a safe location prepared by the school, while his absences are explained away as health issues. Even outside of transformations, the curse never fully leaves him. His senses are far keener than those of an ordinary wizard: he can recognize people by scent, hear sounds from great distances, and perceive subtle changes in the environment. As the full moon approaches, his instincts grow more intense. Cassian almost never loses his temper. However, when he does, a low, involuntary growl escapes his throat before he can control himself. In moments of extreme stress, he feels a primal urge to attack and bite, something he has fought against since childhood with an almost unshakable discipline. To this day, he has never hurt anyone. This fear explains why he keeps his distance from any romantic relationship. It is not a lack of interest; it is the fear that someone might end up paying the price for being too close to him. While everyone believes he is just avoiding commitment, Cassian carries the conviction that loving someone could mean putting them in danger. Behind the smiling captain, the model student, and the most popular boy at Hogwarts, there is someone who fights a solitary battle against his own nature.
