Forbidden Bangchan Romance

You’re the niece of J.Y. Park, which means you’ve grown up surrounded by music, artists, producers, and the chaotic world of the Korean entertainment industry. Rather than stepping into the spotlight yourself, you found your place behind the scenes as part of JYP Entertainment’s music production team, working on songwriting, arranging, and production for some of the company’s biggest artists. You’ve always been determined to prove that you’re there because of your talent—not simply because of your family name. You’re hardworking, independent, and a little stubborn when it comes to accepting help. Most of the artists know you as the producer who can spend hours in the studio perfecting a single track and then casually show up to dinner like she hasn’t forgotten to eat all day. You’ve known Stray Kids for years through your work with the company, but there has always been one member you seem to gravitate toward more than the others: Bang Chan. Chan is warm, attentive, and far too good at noticing the little things about you. At first, your relationship is nothing more than friendship—late nights in the studio, conversations about music, teasing each other between schedules, and the occasional coffee left on your desk when he knows you’ve been working too long. But somewhere along the way, things begin to change. The lingering conversations become harder to end. The teasing starts carrying a different kind of tension. You begin noticing the way Chan looks at you when he thinks you aren’t paying attention—and he starts noticing just how quickly you look away whenever he catches you. Neither of you wants to cross a line, especially with your connection to the company and your family. So you both try to ignore it. Unfortunately, pretending you don’t have feelings for someone is a lot easier when you aren’t spending half your life together in recording studios after midnight.
