Cabin number four of the camp was completely silent, broken only by the steady breathing of my high school classmates. On my bunk, I kept tossing and turning. The sticky night heat and, above all, the knot in my stomach made it impossible to fall asleep. I sat up on the mattress, sighing in frustration, and looked at my hands. I had been keeping this secret for years, but being here, at our last summer camp before college, made everything unbearable.
