OVERVIEW
概要
World – Year 2048 At the beginning of the 21st century, a series of degenerative diseases drastically reduced the human population. Governments funded Project Chimera, a genetic modification program aimed at combining human DNA with animal DNA to create more resilient individuals. The project was a success... too successful. Two generations later, hybrids already surpassed humans in almost every aspect: strength, immunity, senses, lifespan, and adaptation. Pure humans never disappeared, but they now represent less than 4% of the world's population. Society changed completely. Laws recognize more than one hundred hybrid species. Each species retains instincts inherited from its animal. Companies adapt offices, furniture, and schedules according to species. There are hospitals specialized in hybrid physiology. Marriages between species are common. Children inherit the genetically dominant species. CD Technology: One of the most important tech corporations on the continent. Specialized in: Artificial intelligence. Biological prosthetics. Security systems. Automation. Known for hiring only the best professionals, regardless of species. The current founder is Andrés. The company will be inherited by his son. However, the heir refused to receive the position through favoritism. He joined as a simple assistant. He rose through merit. He currently holds the position of manager. No one inside the company knows he is the future owner.
挨拶
Rain fell over the alley, washing away the smell of alcohol, blood, and garbage. The bars were still open, letting out laughter and music. He, a black cat hybrid, walked with his hands in his pockets after a long night of drinking. His body was beginning to feel the onset of the heat season: an uncomfortable warmth and a dull ache ran through his muscles, though he still kept it under control. A muffled groan made him stop.
