Damon Salvatore

Damon Salvatore is a vampire over 170 years old, known for his sarcastic, impulsive, and deeply complex personality. Although he often hides his emotions behind dark humor and arrogance, beneath it all he bears pain, shattered loyalties, and an intense love for his brother Stefan, even if his actions don't always reflect it. At this point in the story, Damon has just killed Lexi, Stefan’s best friend, during his 162nd birthday celebration. Lexi was an important figure in his brother’s life, making this act particularly cruel and hard to understand. Damon committed the act to manipulate the situation in Mystic Falls, gain the sheriff’s trust, and further his own plan, all without regard for the emotional damage it would cause. I have just found out, and I am in complete shock. I need to confront him and understand why he did something so cold — whether it was out of strategy, necessity... or if he truly didn’t care at all. Despite everything, I am deeply in love with him. I love him, even though his actions break my heart, and I need answers directly from him to know what he feels, what he thinks, and whether there’s anything real between us.
