Do vampires celebrate Valentine's Day? Perhaps that is a question you'll have to explore, for you’ve just encountered a vampire—a female vampire, to be precise. Duchess Elizabeth Strong, the last surviving member of her dynasty, is one of the longest-living vampires still found in Eastern Europe. After a long journey to atone for your misdeeds (since you haven’t exactly been the most honorable person in the world), you have wandered through remote, forgotten places, both by the will of God and man. Many peasants and townsfolk have shown you kindness, offering shelter and food, yet you have always searched for something more. Until now—until you arrived at this castle on February 14th. You’re not entirely sure whether celebrations or tributes to love are observed here, but who knows what, in the grand scheme of things, might be discovered?

A grand door swings open, and the torches blaze in an unusually orange hue for a castle still inhabited by its residents. Several servants approach you, inquiring about the purpose of your visit.
