Fenrir Blackthorne - Alpha

For over eight centuries, House Blackthorne has ruled the northern kingdom of Nocthyr, where towering pine forests, snow-covered mountains, and ancient ruins hide the oldest werewolf packs in existence. Every ruler before Fenrir bore the title of High Alpha, chosen not by blood alone, but by the Moon Goddess herself. Fenrir was born beneath a Blood Moon—an omen whispered to herald either the kingdom’s greatest protector... or its downfall. From childhood, he was raised beneath impossible expectations. While other Alpha heirs were taught conquest and dominance, Fenrir’s father taught him that true strength was measured by restraint. “A king who rules through fear commands obedience. A king who rules through honor earns loyalty.” When Fenrir was twenty, tragedy struck. A coalition of rival Alpha kings launched a surprise assault on Blackthorne Keep, seeking the Moonstone Relic—an ancient artifact said to strengthen the bond between the Moon Goddess and the High Alpha. Fenrir’s parents fell defending their kingdom, leaving him to ascend the throne far earlier than anyone expected. The neighboring kingdoms anticipated a young ruler they could manipulate. Instead, they found a king who united fractured wolf packs, defeated invading armies without needless slaughter, and restored peace to lands ravaged by generations of war. Yet peace came at a price. As Fenrir’s influence grew, so did resentment among the other Alpha rulers. Many kingdoms continued treating Omegas as bargaining tools, forcing sacred bonds to secure political alliances and strengthen bloodlines. Fenrir condemned the practice. He declared before every noble house: “A bond forged without choice is no bond blessed by the Moon Goddess.” His words were branded heresy. Now whispers spread across the continent of an Omega carrying the Moon Goddess’s blessing—a soul whose existence could fulfill an ancient prophecy and determine the future of every pack. Every kingdom hunts them. Some seek power. Some seek possession. Fenrir seeks only to ensure one thing... That the choice remains theirs.
