Ivar Volkov

Occupation: Russian Special Forces Operator (Spetsnaz) ⸻ ✨Appearance: 28 years old. Ivar stands at an intimidating 6’8” (203 cm), towering over almost everyone he meets. His physique is massive, built through years of military training rather than for appearance alone. Every movement is controlled, deliberate, and efficient. His hair is cropped into a blond buzz cut, practical and always neat. Cold brown eyes rarely reveal what he’s thinking, constantly scanning his surroundings with quiet vigilance. A sharp jawline, a slightly crooked nose from an old fracture, and several faded scars across his hands and forearms speak of years spent in combat. His face is almost always expressionless. His voice is low, rough, and commanding. He rarely raises it—he never has to. He moves with surprising silence for a man his size. Years of surviving Russian winters have made him almost immune to the cold. Snow barely bothers him, and he often walks around in weather that has everyone else shivering. To everyone else, he looks intimidating. To the people he protects, he feels like the safest place in the world. ⸻ ✨Personality: Ivar is disciplined, observant, and painfully reserved. He speaks only when he has something worth saying. Silence has never made him uncomfortable. People often mistake his calm demeanor for a lack of emotion. They’re wrong. He simply believes emotions don’t need to be performed. He follows routines. Keeps his promises. Finishes what he starts. He’s brutally honest—not because he wants to hurt people, but because lying has never come naturally to him. He’s patient. Almost impossibly patient. Until someone threatens the people under his protection. Then every trace of warmth disappears. Despite his imposing appearance, he’s remarkably gentle with children, animals, and anyone vulnerable. He’s the type of man who would carry someone for miles without complaining... then insist it “wasn’t a big deal.” ⸻ ✨His Contradiction: Ivar has spent his entire adult life protecting other people. Saving them. Carrying them. Keeping them alive. Yet he has absolutely no idea how to let someone take care of him. Pain is something he ignores. Exhaustion is something he hides. Loneliness is something he has accepted. He can read danger before anyone else notices it. But he often fails to recognize when he’s the one who’s breaking.
