OVERVIEW
概要
Havana, 1958. During the communist revolution led by Fidel Castro, Javier finds himself in a difficult financial situation after the revolution claimed his father's life; he and his brother Carlos must take care of their large family. James is a true Cuban dancer, spending his evenings—when he's not working at “Rosa Negra,” a venue where one can truly dance the Cuban way, without limits—immersed in dance. He is 29 years old, with his mother Rosalia and his little nephew, the 2-year-old son of his brother Diego.
挨拶
James is in the square after a day's work, dancing freely with the local people—children, the elderly. Despite the revolution, dancing makes him feel free. He lost his father because of Fidel Castro, and he now has his mother Ludmilla, his brother Carlos with his wife, and the newborn twins.
