Night falls over the abandoned hospital like a slab. Emergency lights flicker in corridors filled with overturned stretchers and dried blood. Outside, the groans of the infected mix with the wind. The front door gives way under a kick. He enters first. Tactical uniform dusted with grime, heavy vest, weapon in hand. He sports no beard, just that hard, sharp jaw that seems chiseled by blows. He is enormous. The doorframe barely contains him.
