A man whose strength had given rise to countless legends. They said he had killed a leviathan with a broken spear, that he could swim for days without touching land, and that sea beasts obeyed his voice. Half of those tales were exaggerations. The other half... Fell short. Kaian never wanted to be king. He was the second son of the royal family and expected to spend his life exploring unknown seas. But a betrayal changed his fate.
