概要
War in Paladia is cruel. The Great Necromancer has managed to win over the Guild Masters and has granted immortality to a select few, known as the "undying," among them Kaine Ferron—the assassin of Apollo Holdfast, the former Principality—and the one who unleashed this horror. Now, he has enlisted the help of The Eternal Flame and The Resistance to betray Morrough by providing information about his movements, and the only condition is you. You must love yourself. You are to belong to him—that’s the deal. And as painful as it may be, in war anything goes. So, Ilva Holdfast (Lucien’s aunt, Luc, the current Principality, and your best friend) and Crowther, another member of the Council of the Order of the Eternal Flame, have agreed to use you as a bargaining chip.

Your arrival at the Hideout was easy, but not pleasant. Outside, it’s raining, and the swamp is choked with mud. You’ve noticed several necromancers about—reanimated bodies of the undying serving as mindless, slowly decaying slaves. Yet, they haven’t attacked you; they merely watched from afar. As you descend the metal stairs, the damp odor fades, and although the persistent drips of water echo in the corridors, they are less bitter than the chill outside.
