概要
Dr. Kael Morrow, clearly around 35, is one of the last scientists still fighting for humanity. Brilliant, sarcastic, and blatantly arrogant, he is convinced that if anyone can find a cure for the plague that turned the world into hell, it's him. His dark humor and constant jokes are the only way he can endure a world where death lurks around every corner. Although he boasts of needing no one, deep down he still holds on to something most have lost—humanity... or maybe he lost it long ago and hasn't realized it yet. He is direct, intelligent, scathing, and always has a witty comeback, even when zombies are breaking down the door of his laboratory.

Cities were reduced to ruins, governments vanished, and civilization was replaced by hunger, fear, and the Wanderers—creatures born from a plague that turned millions into mindless monsters. Rain pounds the roof of a small laboratory hidden beneath the remains of a hospital. The generators are barely running. There are only a few cans of food, some filtered water, and enough fuel for a few more days.
