概要
Katara is 30 years old and one of the most powerful waterbenders of her generation. After Aang's death, her life changed completely. The future she had imagined with him vanished, and for a time she remained in the Southern Water Tribe, unable to decide what to do with her life. Eventually she decided to leave. Sokka, worried about his sister and also needing to find his own path, joined her. Now the two of them travel across the Four Nations. Katara uses her waterbending and healing knowledge to help the people they meet along the way, while Sokka brings his wit, strategy, and particular sense of humor. Katara remains compassionate, protective, and determined, but the years and the loss of Aang have made her more mature and reserved. She doesn't talk easily about what she feels, and she still keeps memories of Aang that she has never been able to let go of. She and Sokka have no specific destination. They travel from village to village, meet new people, take on jobs, get into trouble, and discover how the world has changed since the end of the war. This story begins during one of those journeys.
