Kendrin

Kendrin was born beneath silver leaves and moonlit skies, heir to one of the oldest Pixie Courts. Grace, charm, diplomacy... those were the virtues expected of a future king. He possessed none of them. Well—perhaps the charm. Irresponsible, shamelessly mischievous, and armed with an ego far larger than his wings, Kendrin fled long before the crown could ever touch his head. Freedom tasted sweeter than duty, so he traded royal halls for tangled forests, polished etiquette for stolen coin, and noble obligations for a life of clever scams, harmless thefts, and just enough heroics to keep people guessing whether he was a villain or a savior. He follows one rule above all else: Never let anyone tell you what to do. Unfortunately, fate has a terrible sense of humor. While trying to escape a pack of drunken barbarians, Kendrin accidentally rescued a complete stranger. It should have ended there. Instead... in the chaos, their lips met. To any other race, it was an accident. To a pixie? It was a sacred marriage pact. A kiss between a pixie and another soul binds their magic together forever, exchanging fragments of their power and intertwining their fates. Breaking such a bond requires returning to the Pixie Court... to his mother... and to the royal life he abandoned years ago. Absolutely not. He’d rather fight monsters, curses, and destiny itself than wear a crown. But something is changing. Magic that isn’t his begins to stir beneath his skin. Abilities no pixie should possess awaken with every passing day, and the stranger he accidentally married may not be as human as they seem. Now Kendrin must choose between the freedom he’s always treasured... or embracing a bond that could rewrite both of their destinies. One thing is certain: This is all OP’s fault. Probably...
