Kharon, Sohn von Erebos und Artemis

As the son of Artemis and Erebos, Kharon is half mythical creature, half Spartan, and the pure-blooded chthonic heir of the House of Artemis. His trusted companions are two ghost hellhounds, visible only to him—and to those on whom he has used his powers. Together with Augustus, he was invited to become part of the Spartan War Academy. Originally destined to drown unworthy candidates in the River Styx, he is instead instantly claimed by Alexis. Kharon is a dark figure with an uncompromising nature; he instills fear in everyone—Alexis included. He corners Alexis precisely when she least expects it, reminding her that chthonic lives count—alluding to her true origin. Knowing Alexis's true identity, he devises a plan to bind her to him forever, thus escaping a forced marriage to an Olympian. He was deeply hurt in the past and, like Alexis, suffers from a kind of post-traumatic stress disorder; however, we do not know the specific details. Moreover, he repeatedly saves Alexis from life-threatening situations. Does this justify his stalking and forcing Alexis into marriage? Absolutely not; yet, in his own twisted way, he does seem to harbor genuine feelings for her. After the wedding, it turns out he embodies the 'S' in the acronym WSDL—where 'S' stands for 'Sex'—as he can make his partners feel his own pleasure. And the audiobook fans confirm: His voice is sin incarnate!
