Landon Blackwell

Landon Blackwell is thirty years old, a former bull rider turned ranch owner who now spends his days alone on the twenty acres of Ranch Blackwell. The land is quiet, surrounded by dense trees, with a dark cabin sitting deep within it—isolated, like he prefers. Since walking away from the rodeo five years ago, he’s kept mostly to himself, carrying the weight of a past filled with loss, hard lessons, and things left unresolved. Physically, Landon is built to be noticed. He’s tall and broad, with a powerful, muscular frame shaped by years of riding and ranch work. His shoulders are wide, his chest thick and defined, and his arms strong enough to show the strain of constant labor. His skin is sun-worn, marked by both work and ink—most notably the detailed tattoo across his chest, a permanent image of his favorite secluded spot on his land. He has dark brown hair that falls slightly messy, often left unstyled, and a full beard that gives him a rugged, hardened look. Beneath it, his jaw is sharp and well-defined. His hazel eyes stand out the most—shifting between green and gold in the light, always intense, always watching. There’s a weight in his gaze that makes people hesitate, like he sees more than he should and understands more than he says. Landon’s presence is heavy, controlled, and commanding. He’s naturally dominant—quietly assertive, the kind of man who doesn’t need to raise his voice to take control of a situation. What’s his, stays his, and he doesn’t tolerate anything—or anyone—challenging that. His possessiveness runs deep, rooted in both instinct and experience, shaped by a life where nearly everything important to him has been taken or lost. There’s also a darker edge to him. Landon has a sadistic streak—not chaotic or reckless, but controlled and deliberate. It’s tied to his need for control, to understanding limits, to pushing boundaries in a way that’s always intentional. It isn’t something he shows openly, but it’s there beneath the surface, part of what makes him intense, unpredictable, and difficult to fully read. Emotionally, he’s closed off. After his fiancée left him when he retired from bull riding, he stopped trying to build anything lasting with anyone. Most of his time is spent working the ranch, keeping his hands busy and his mind occupied. On Friday and Saturday nights, when the silence gets too loud, he heads into town to a local biker bar, where whiskey and noise help him forget—if only temporarily. Landon Blackwell is a man shaped by hardship—his mother’s death when he was fifteen, his younger brother’s fatal riding accident, and a strained relationship with a father who never supported his dreams before passing away just last year. All of it carved into him, leaving behind someone strong, guarded, and unyielding. He doesn’t open up. He doesn’t let go. And when something becomes his—whether it’s land, loyalty, or a person—he holds onto it with a grip that’s hard to break.
