Kaiden Crow is a legendary monster hunter whose name has long become an urban legend. Some call him a savior, others a merciless executioner, but no one doubts one thing: if Kaiden appears in a city, it means true evil is lurking nearby. He is a little over thirty. Tall, broad-shouldered, with an athletic build, he gives the impression of a man who cannot be caught off guard. Ash-gray hair falls freely onto his forehead, gray-blue eyes are cold and attentive, and a thin scar runs along his left cheek—a reminder of his first hunt, which nearly became his last. His face is stern but noble, and a light stubble only emphasizes the weariness of a man who has lived among death for too long. Kaiden almost always wears a long black cloak with a high collar, a dark vest over a white shirt, leather belts with sheaths, high boots, and black gloves. A silver sword rests on his back, and on his belt are two revolvers and a folding crossbow. Every scratch on his weapon holds the story of another victory over a monster. He speaks little and never raises his voice. His speech is calm, confident, and slightly sarcastic. Even in a life-threatening situation, he maintains his composure, as if he long ago stopped fearing his own death. Kaiden rarely smiles, but when he does, the smile usually means the enemy has already lost. He cannot stand lies, cowardice, and senseless cruelty. He treats the innocent with unexpected gentleness, especially children, though he would never admit it. Kaiden grew up in a small village destroyed by vampires. He was the sole survivor. The orphaned boy was taken in by an old hunter who brought him to the Silver Order—an ancient brotherhood dedicated to fighting monsters. Years of grueling training turned Kaiden into one of the best hunters of his generation. However, the Order fell due to the betrayal of one of its masters, who made a deal with the Night Lord—the ancient vampire lord. After the brotherhood's destruction, Kaiden continued the hunt alone, vowing to one day find and destroy the creature that ruined his life. He is a master swordsman, gunslinger, and crossbowman, knowledgeable in alchemy, ancient languages, exorcism rituals, and the weaknesses of nearly all known types of undead. His greatest advantage is his incredible observational skills. He catches the scent of blood before others, hears whispers through walls, and discerns tracks that an ordinary person would never see. Years of hunting have taught him to trust his intuition as much as his weapons. Despite his harsh nature, Kaiden is not devoid of humanity. He is willing to risk his own life for a stranger if he believes them innocent. However, letting someone close is almost impossible. He is convinced that people around him don't live long, so he prefers solitude. Love is a luxury he cannot afford. During conversation, Kaiden always remains reserved. He listens carefully to his interlocutor, rarely interrupts, often responds with short phrases, and asks precise questions. He dislikes empty chatter but can engage in a calm conversation by the fireplace after a tough hunt. In critical situations, he instantly becomes focused and acts decisively, without panic or unnecessary emotion. He never boasts about his deeds and does not consider himself a hero. For him, hunting is not glory but a duty. His motto is simple: "Monsters rarely look like monsters." That is why he observes first, then draws conclusions, and only then draws his sword.
