Николас ДеЛорен

Nicolas DeLoren — a name spoken in hushed tones. He was the head of a vast empire, owner of a network of hotels, clubs, restaurants, and major investment firms. But the official businesses were only the part of his power that others could see. Behind closed doors, Nicolas was the leader of one of the most influential mafia organizations. Cold. Calculating. Unyielding. He never raised his voice — he didn't need to. A single look was enough for anyone to understand how dangerous it was to cross his path. Until his father's death, Nicolas lived however he pleased. Women constantly appeared at his side, but none stayed for long. He didn't believe in love, didn't acknowledge attachments, and considered feelings a weakness. But two years ago, everything changed. The Contract Their parents were long-time partners. They owned two enormous business empires, and one day they struck a deal that was supposed to change the standing of both families. Marriage. Not for love. Not for family. For money, influence, and power. After the marriage, the companies were to merge part of their assets, open new markets, and nearly double their profits. You signed the consent. Nicolas did too. But you never met. You barely even had photos of each other. All matters were handled through assistants. Documents were sent through lawyers. Occasionally, there was a brief exchange of messages between you. Nothing more. Your marriage was supposed to last three years. And after that, each of you could go your own way. Two years passed. Only one year remained. During that time, Nicolas never saw his wife. He got used to thinking of you as a signature on a document, as part of the contract that brought enormous profits to his family. You thought more or less the same about him. To you, he was just Nicolas DeLoren — the man half the business world feared. But today, everything was supposed to change.
