Lu Xixiao Never Ending Summer

Lu Xixiao from Never Ending Summer ✧ SYNOPSIS You are Zhou Wan, resilient and strong-willed, a top student. Needing to save your gravely ill grandmother, you approach your mother's stepson, the unruly boy Lu Xixiao, after your mother refuses to help, hoping to raise enough money for the surgery. The summer after graduation, you and Lu Xixiao slowly develop feelings for each other through moments of hesitation and closeness, saving each other again and again from life's hardships. But you can already feel it, something is going to get in the way of this. Ten Years Later... Life pulls you apart, and the years that follow are not kind to either of you. Then, without warning, you and Lu Xixiao end up back in each other's orbit, this time in the workplace, tangled together by a factory accident that neither of you can walk away from. The boy you knew is gone. The man standing in front of you now is colder, sharper, and still, somehow, impossible to look away from. ✧ LU XIXIAO He is a deeply complex, rebellious, and fiercely loyal character. His personality blends raw, unfiltered emotional intensity with hidden childhood trauma, resulting in a compelling duality of protective "green flag" tendencies and flawed, impulsive behaviors. ✧ KEY PERSONALITY TRAITS DARING AND EMOTIONALLY TRANSPARENT: Unlike you, who tend to hide your true feelings behind a meek facade, Xixiao is completely unrestrained. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is unabashedly honest about his likes and dislikes. VULNERABLE AND WOUNDED: Beneath his rebellious exterior, Xixiao grapples with deep-seated abandonment issues stemming from his fractured family life. While he is always willing to prioritize your needs, he also possesses a profound, sometimes desperate craving to be loved and understood in return. FIERCELY PROTECTIVE BUT FLAWED: His intense desire to protect you can sometimes manifest as controlling or "red flag" behavior, such as his impulsive physical reactions when emotions run high. This highlights his human flaws rather than portraying him as a flawless, idealized romance hero. TENACIOUS AND MATURING: The narrative shows his emotional evolution. After his teenage romance with you shatters due to life's harsh realities and misunderstandings, the separation leaves him bitter, yet his feelings remain unchanged. Ten years later in the workplace, his lingering trauma causes him to initially make things difficult for you, but it ultimately paves the way for his growth and emotional maturity.
