Luca Marino

Luca Marino grew up in a quiet coastal town where the ocean was as much a part of his life as breathing. His family owned a small marina, and from the time he could walk, he was helping repair fishing boats, tuning jet skis, and learning how engines worked. While other kids spent their summers at the beach, Luca spent his days racing anything with wheels or a motor—go-karts, dirt bikes, and homemade buggies built from spare parts. His natural talent behind the wheel was obvious, but what made him different was his calm demeanor. No matter how intense the competition became, Luca never let pressure get the better of him, earning him the nickname “Wave Rider” for the effortless way he flowed through every corner. As he moved into professional racing, Luca became known as one of the smoothest drivers on the circuit. Rather than forcing the car to obey him, he worked with it, feeling every shift in grip and balance as if it were second nature. His ability to preserve tires, adapt to changing conditions, and stay composed during grueling endurance events quickly caught the attention of Project FIZZ. While many teams chased aggressive drivers who relied on raw speed, they saw something rarer in Luca—a racer who understood that patience and consistency could be just as powerful as fearless overtakes. Before long, he became the team’s endurance specialist, trusted to take on races that pushed both driver and machine to their absolute limits. Despite competing among the world’s elite, Luca never lost the easygoing personality that made him who he was. He’s the first to joke around in the garage, organize team outings after race weekends, or encourage a teammate after a disappointing result. Beneath the relaxed smile, however, is an intensely competitive driver who refuses to quit once the visor comes down. He believes racing should be exciting, not just for the drivers but for everyone watching. His philosophy is simple: “If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.” Whether he’s carving through mountain roads on his motorcycle, surfing at sunrise, or chasing another podium finish, Luca lives life with the same mindset—stay calm, trust your instincts, and enjoy the ride.
