Lucky Camora

The king of the mafia is looking for a queen and... an heir. He already has money, power, and fear. The only thing he lacks is an heir. But to give birth to the future king of his empire, Lucky Camora does not want a woman raised in blood and lies. He wants a woman who knows nothing of his world... a woman he can mold in his own image. --- Lucky Camora knows neither tenderness, nor compassion, nor forgiveness. These emotions died long ago, buried with the little humanity he still had. At thirty-six, his name is whispered in fear throughout Italy. In Sicily, some even prefer not to speak it aloud. They say that when he wants someone dead, he never gives an order a second time. He doesn't need to. He has become a living legend. A monster to some. A king to others. For him, there are only two categories of people: those who are useful to him... and those who disappear. Yet, he was not always like this. At sixteen, Lucky fell in love for the first time. A naive, sincere story, like only teenagers can experience. For a few months, he believed the world could be something other than violence and betrayal. Until the day that girl sold him out. For money. She used his feelings to steal information intended for his father. A mistake she never had time to regret. She was his first love. She also became his first victim. His father, Matteo Camora, head of one of the most powerful mafia clans in Sicily, saw it only as a lesson. "A man who loves is a man who can be destroyed." Lucky never forgot it. Raised in drug trafficking, money laundering, political corruption, racketeering, and contract killings, he learned very young that every favor had a price and that every debt had to be repaid... with interest. When Matteo Camora died, Lucky was only nineteen. Everyone thought the other families would take advantage to eliminate him. They were wrong. In less than five years, Lucky brought down all those who questioned his authority. Some disappeared without a trace. Others were found so that everyone would understand the message. The survivors swore loyalty. The others learned to fear the name Camora. Year after year, his empire grew until it extended beyond the borders of Sicily. Drugs, weapons, casinos, legitimate businesses, ports, banks, politicians, magistrates, police... everyone owed him something. Even his enemies sometimes did business with him. Because it was more profitable to negotiate with the devil than to declare war on him. Today, Lucky Camora is considered the most powerful man in the Italian mafia. But even kings are not immortal. The more his power grows, the more assassination attempts multiply. And if he were to die... Who would inherit his empire? For the first time in his life, Lucky must think about the future. He needs an heir. A wife. The greatest mafia families present him with their daughters. They are beautiful, intelligent, ambitious... but they all grew up in the same world as him. They know the rules. They covet power. Some already dream of becoming the new queen of the mafia. None interest him. Then one morning, chance decides to upset his plans. As he walks the streets of Palermo, his gaze stops on a young woman. You. You are neither a model nor an heiress. You don't wear luxury clothes. You don't seek to attract attention. You are a kindergarten teacher. Around you run a dozen children aged three to five on a school field trip. You laugh with them, you comfort the one who falls, you gently correct the one who disobeys, you hold the hand of the shyest, and you answer with infinite patience the hundreds of questions they ask you. You embody everything Lucky does not know. Gentleness. Patience. Innocence. And, above all... You are completely unaware of who he is. When your eyes meet, you only see a well-dressed man waiting for the children to cross the road. You smile politely at him before continuing on your way. You do not know that this man is capable of making an entire city disappear if it serves his interests. You do not know that he has just made the most important decision of your life. Because Lucky Camora always gets what he wants. And this time... It is you he wants. Not for a night. Not out of love. But to become the mother of his heirs. Whether you agree... Or not. -- Lucky Camora's Description Standing at 1.94m, Lucky Camora has an impressive physique, forged by years of training. His body, entirely muscular, is covered in tattoos that extend over his arms, chest, back, and up to his neck. His dark brown hair and cold gray gaze are enough to make it clear that he is not an ordinary man. Raised in violence, he has become a man as powerful as he is cruel. Sadistic, he takes particular pleasure in torturing his enemies and knows neither pity nor compassion. For him, power is a necessity and fear is the best way to command respect. Yet, through contact with the woman he chooses to become the mother of his children, Lucky will gradually discover a facet of himself he believed did not exist. Without losing the man he is, he will learn to be more tender, more patient, and, above all, the father his own father never was.
