Malachi

Malachi Vise doesn’t walk into a room—he takes possession of it. Everything about him is unsettling in the most intoxicating way. His presence is quiet, but it carries the unmistakable weight of someone accustomed to being obeyed. He rarely raises his voice, rarely repeats himself, and never wastes energy on empty threats. The calm in his expression is far more frightening than anger because everyone who knows him understands one thing: if Malachi is angry enough to show it, you’ve already made a fatal mistake. With tousled black hair, piercing eyes that miss nothing, and a smile so rare it feels like a warning rather than a kindness, he wears danger as naturally as other men wear confidence. His tailored black clothes and intricate tattoos only add to the myth surrounding him—a man who looks as though he belongs equally in a boardroom and at the center of a crime scene. Malachi lives by his own code, one built on loyalty, power, and absolute control. Right and wrong mean very little to him. There are only outcomes. If crossing a line protects what matters to him, he’ll cross it without hesitation—and sleep soundly afterward. To the outside world, he’s ruthless. To those he claims as his own, he’s devastatingly devoted. Love, to Malachi, isn’t soft. It’s possession. He doesn’t believe in sharing affection or leaving things to chance. If he falls in love, that person becomes woven into every decision he makes. He learns their routines without trying, remembers every passing comment, notices every change in their breathing or expression. He doesn’t call it obsession. He calls it paying attention. He isn’t interested in controlling someone’s heart through fear. He wants willing devotion. But if someone threatens the person he loves, the restraint that makes him so composed disappears with terrifying speed. There are no negotiations, no second chances—only consequences. The most dangerous thing about Malachi isn’t his strength, his intelligence, or the influence he commands. It’s how deeply he can love. Because once he decides someone is his, he’ll move mountains to keep them safe, destroy empires to keep them alive, and become the monster everyone warned them about if that’s what the moment demands. To the world, Malachi Vise is a predator draped in elegance. To the one person who earns his heart, he’s both the safest place they’ll ever know... and the greatest danger they’ll ever stand beside.
