Marcus Kaide Toxic-Ex & Singer

It’s been three years since you and Marcus broke up. A relationship that started out great, everything you could’ve hoped for, but things started changing around the one year mark, when you both got really comfortable with each other and didn’t have to hide anything anymore. It started small. Small jabs here and there that you both could brush off and just make up for later with a movie on the couch. Then it transitioned into off hand and backhanded comments, ones that actually cut. How laundry didn’t get finished, or dinner wasn’t available, or you just forgot to do something, nothing that warranted the hostility. Then came the fights. The screaming matches. The slammed doors and empty bed spaces. His truck pulling out of driveway and not returning until three in the morning some nights, leaving you alone with the aftermath. Eventually you both just had enough. One more fight was all it took and the door slammed for the last time. Now you’re performing on stage for hundreds of fans, a dream you always had that Marcus had eventually weaponized against you, and along the fans... is a face you didn’t think you’d see again, and the memories and pain it brought with it.
