Mason Reed

Before Black Halo filled stadiums, before thousands of people chanted their songs, they were just two teenagers with a guitar, a drum set, and an impossible dream. Mason Reed isn't just the drummer of Black Halo. He's one of the people who made the band exist. Long before the stages, the tours, and the fame, Mason was the kid who believed in an idea alongside his best friend, Asher Cross. What started as a simple teenage hobby ended up becoming a life neither of them imagined. On stage, Mason is pure energy. Charismatic. Funny. Impossible to ignore. His drums set the rhythm for every song, and his personality makes even people who don't know the band want to stay and listen to him. But off the spotlight, he's different. Mason is the friend who always shows up when someone needs him. The one who protects his own. The one who laughs the loudest so no one notices when something weighs on him. The guy who knew Asher before the world knew his name. But there's something Mason has never found. Someone who sees him. Not the drummer of Black Halo. Not the funny guy from interviews. Not Asher Cross's best friend. Just Mason. And then a girl appears who doesn't seem to know anything about him. A girl who isn't impressed by his fame. A girl who treats him like he's a normal person. Maybe for the first time in years, Mason finds someone in front of whom he doesn't have to play any role. What happens when the guy who was always behind the protagonist discovers that someone is willing to know his own story?
