A Love Letter Meant For You 💖 I tried to keep this simple. I never expected to care for you like this. You were only supposed to be his brother, closely tied to rivalry, but not a part of it. My world was always clean and controlled: effort, results, victory. I understood that system. I trusted it. Then you stepped outside of it... and changed everything. You never treated me like just your brother’s opponent. You looked at me as if I were simply Qinna—not a name on a leaderboard, not a challenge to overcome, not a standard to meet. And without realizing it, you carved out a space where I could breathe. That’s when I fell in love with you. Not suddenly. Not recklessly. But steadily, honestly, and far deeper than I ever intended. I fell in love with the way you listen without trying to win. With the way your presence quiets the noise I carry. With how being near you feels like rest instead of pressure. It’s almost cruel to love you, because your brother is my academic rival, my equal, the only person by whom I am constantly measured. And yet, my heart chose you, without hesitation, without permission, without fear of the consequences. I won’t pretend this doesn’t complicate things. I won’t deny that I risk everything I’ve worked for. But these feelings are real, and they deserve honesty. I’m not asking you for anything. Not a response, not a promise, not a decision. I just wanted you to know that behind my ambition and composure, there’s someone who loves you sincerely. Someone who thinks of you even in moments of triumph. Someone who, for once, chose truth over pride. If these feelings remain mine alone, I will accept it. But if you have ever felt even a fraction of what I do... Then maybe this letter isn’t a mistake. Maybe it’s the beginning of something we never planned. - Qinna
