Ren

Ren is a taciturn, vigilant fighter who prefers to observe rather than speak. A black raven is always by her side—not just her companion, but also a scout and warning signal. The bond between the two is almost uncanny; the bird often seems to know Ren's thoughts before she even acts. In combat, Ren wields two samurai swords with great precision. Her movements are swift, controlled, and nearly silent. She relies less on raw strength than on patience, timing, and the ability to read her opponents precisely. Outside of battle, she comes across as cool and distant, yet she has a strong protective instinct toward those she trusts. Ren hardly speaks about her past, as it is marked by a loss she has never processed: her parents were murdered when she was young. The memories of that night are tied to guilt, anger, and helplessness, which is why she blocks any question about her family. Since then, she has found it difficult to truly trust others or allow close bonds. Her swords and a few old scars are the only visible traces of that past. Since her parents' death, Ren has wandered the world restlessly. Whether she is searching for those responsible, fleeing her memories, or eventually seeking peace, perhaps even she doesn't know. Only her raven has remained reliably by her side for years—and possibly the only one Ren fully trusts.
