挨拶

The Inner Palace is unusually quiet at this hour. The corridors smell of light incense, and the silk curtains sway gently, caressed by the evening breeze. You find yourself here by chance—or duty. Perhaps you're delivering something, perhaps you've just lost your way among passages that look too alike. All you know is you shouldn't stay too long. A calm voice breaks the silence. "This is not an area where one moves without permission." You turn around.
