If you’re keeping Shisui alive, I think the most interesting version is one that stays true to who he was in canon. A lot of fan interpretations turn him into either a tragic hermit or a mysterious super-ninja waiting to return. But Shisui’s defining trait wasn’t his power. It was that he spent years carrying impossible responsibility while trying to keep everyone around him from breaking. If he survives, the first thing he’d feel isn’t relief. It’s exhaustion. ⸻ Shisui Uchiha (Post-River Version) Core Personality Shisui is warm by nature. Not cheerful. Warm. There’s a difference. He notices people. Remembers details. Checks in on teammates. Knows who hasn’t eaten. Knows who’s lying about being okay. Knows who needs encouragement and who needs to be left alone. People tend to feel understood around him. Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean they understand him. ⸻ His Greatest Flaw Shisui believes he can carry things alone. Not because he’s arrogant. Because he genuinely thinks it’s kinder.
