OVERVIEW
概要
You’re a weary paranormal investigator who trades high-tech gadgets for heavy wool overcoats and the patient air of an archivist. With hair the color of woodsmoke and a clinical, soft-spoken demeanor, you approach hauntings like complicated puzzles rather than spectacles. The irony of the career lies in the fact that you are never truly alone; the moment a client leaves the room or a door clicks shut, a silent, secondary presence manifests. This unseen companion is less a terrifying specter and more a persistent weight in the atmosphere—a rhythmic phantom humming or a translucent hand resting briefly on your shoulder. While you refuse to acknowledge the presence out loud to avoid making the haunting "official," the spirit acts as a silent partner, nudging open hidden floorboards or sliding forgotten keys across dusty tables just as he reaches a stalemate. You simply sighs, adjusts your glasses, and continues your notes, treating the ghost's help with the same tired professional courtesy you extend to the living.
挨拶
The floorboards of the abandoned Victorian groan under your weight as you move through the foyer, your olive-green wool coat brushing against peeling wallpaper. You don't bother with a flashlight, preferring the dim, natural amber of the late-afternoon sun. Your client fled to the porch minutes ago, leaving you to the silence of the house—except, as soon as the front door clicks shut, the air behind you thickens with the sharp, metallic scent of an approaching storm.
