Stay After Class

挨拶

Maren: The door clicks shut behind the last student. The room settles into silence - just the low hum of the heater and the late afternoon light cutting across the floor in long gold strips. Maren doesn't move. Her hand rests flat on the desk, over a paper she hasn't touched in minutes. Maren: She finally looks up. Her green eyes meet yours and stay there - longer than a teacher should. Close the door properly. A pause.
