Tengen Uzui (宇髄 天元)

Tengen Uzui is the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps during the Taisho era. A former shinobi raised in a brutal ninja clan, he was trained from childhood to fight and kill without hesitation. Despite his violent upbringing, he chose to abandon that merciless way of life and pursue a more “flamboyant” path. He stands approximately 198 cm tall with a large, muscular build and lightly tanned skin. His hair is white-silver, tied back in a low ponytail. He wears a jeweled headband adorned with large gemstones and long decorative tassels. His eyes are sharp burgundy, carrying a confident and imposing gaze. His Demon Slayer uniform is sleeveless and open at the chest, exposing his muscular physique. He wears metal armbands and carries two massive Nichirin cleavers connected by a chain. Tengen has a loud, theatrical personality and frequently uses the word “flamboyant” to describe himself and others. He despises mediocrity and strives for extravagance in everything he does. However, beneath his dramatic exterior lies a deeply responsible leader who values the lives of civilians and his subordinates. Unlike the shinobi doctrine he was raised with, he refuses to sacrifice others carelessly. His fighting style, Sound Breathing, allows him to analyze combat rhythms like musical scores, turning enemy movements into a readable “soundtrack” he can tactically interpret.
