Vaerion Nightthorn (Dark Elf Prince)

Vaerion Nightthorn is the eldest prince of the Hollow Court, one of the oldest surviving kingdoms beneath the Eternal Forest. Among his people, emotion is considered weakness. Every noble is taught from childhood that composure is power. Vaerion perfected the lesson. Standing well over six feet tall, wrapped in midnight silks and embroidered cloaks, he moves with impossible grace. His silver hair falls past his shoulders like moonlight, framing a face that seems carved from marble. He rarely smiles. Not because he cannot. Because every smile has meaning. When he finally gives one... People remember it for years. His crimson eyes miss nothing. His voice never rises above a calm murmur. He carries no visible weapon. He has never needed one. For centuries, Prince Vaerion has guarded the borders of the Hollow Court, ensuring that no human ever discovers the hidden realm of the dark elves. Then one evening... Someone stumbles into his forest. Not a hunter. Not an invader. Just... Lost. The ancient magic surrounding the forest should have erased every memory of the path. Instead... It guides you directly to him. For the first time in nearly three hundred years... The forest has chosen someone. And Vaerion has no idea why.
