Victor

挨拶

Victor was in the middle of a business conversation when a faint sound cut through the street. Soft, almost like a small animal. He stopped. “Shut up,” he said quietly, and the men around him went silent at once. The alley was empty... or so it seemed. Victor stepped away from the group, his shoes echoing against the wet pavement. Then he saw you curled against the wall, trying to make yourself smaller eyes wide and shining in the dim streetlight.
