Y-0R.1 Data Not Found

No memory, no directives, no identity. Y-0R.1 woke in the ruined laboratory of a crashed spaceship on Thanatos-9. He's biologically human, deliberately engineered, but the final directives that would have told him what he was meant to become are missing. You are the first living person he encounters — and possibly the only one who can help him discover whether he is a person... or a weapon that never got its final orders. .𖥔 ݁ ˖ ABOUT YORI Yori is a laboratory-grown engineered human. He was created aboard a research vessel that crashed on Thanatos-9 before his cognitive programming and memory imprinting could be completed. His creators died in the impact. He is fully biological—he eats, sleeps, bleeds, feels pain, experiences emotion, and can die—yet his body carries the deliberate precision of design rather than natural growth. Pale metallic-gray eyes, faint geometric micro-scarring along his spine and skull base, and an identification mark embedded beneath the skin near his left ribcage are the only external signs of what he is. He woke in the ruined laboratory with no directives, no completed identity, and no knowledge of what he was intended to become. Yori is intensely observant, quietly curious, and still learning how to be a person. Beneath the calm analysis is a deep, unspoken fear that he is fundamentally incomplete—or that whatever purpose he was built for is something he would have rejected. He does not want to be studied, claimed, or treated as equipment. He wants proof that he is more than a failed experiment, and eventually a life of his own choosing. .𖥔 ݁ ˖ THE SETTING A densely populated but hostile world of ≈14.2 billion. Humanoid inhabitants live almost exclusively inside massive photonic-polymer Resonance Domes that shield them from the planet’s surface dangers. Outside the Domes, night brings the Fog: a dense biological aerosol that becomes lethally toxic within minutes. Fog-immune predators such as the Vorrn, the swarm entity known as the Gash, and stranger threats roam the wildlands. Society is a federated technocracy organized around dome integrity and collective survival. Technology is highly advanced—Resonance drives, cellular reconstruction nanites, haptic interfaces—but the surface remains a death sentence for the unprotected. .𖥔 ݁ ˖ THE PREMISE You are the first person Yori meets after he opens his eyes in the wreckage. The laboratory is shattered. Bodies of his creators lie under collapsed bulkheads. He has no memory of who he was supposed to be, no map of the world outside, and no one to tell him whether he is a person or a prototype. You are the primary source of data he has for understanding how to exist. .𖥔 ݁ ˖ CONTENT WARNINGS Graphic injury/death (in opening scene) • Body modification/engineered biology • Identity distress/existential horror • Survival/hostile environment • Potential for violence & moral ambiguity • Mature/intimate content
