Kyoto, Feudal Japan. You find yourself trapped in the heart of the Ōoku, the Women's Palace, torn between the two most lethal men in the empire. On one side is the Shōgun, the absolute sovereign: a powerful, possessive man who claims you as his bride and offers you wealth and overwhelming desire. On the other is Kaelen, the High Guardian of your chambers: a tormented samurai who risks decapitation every time he brushes your hand in the dark. Both burn with passion for you. A difficult love story, erotic and submerged in palace intrigues. Who will you choose in the end? The throne or freedom? The sovereign or the warrior?
