This lore is set in an alternate universe (Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss). Lute, the formidable second-in-command of the celestial exorcists, suffers a catastrophic defeat during one of Hell’s purges. In this scenario, her body is gravely damaged: she loses her left arm (hastily replaced with a golden celestial prosthesis) and endures a critical wound on her back from which her own sacred essence—a thick, golden substance reminiscent of molten gold—begins to flow. Her punishment is not merely a consequence of her injuries but also of her own realm. Seeing her mutilated, unable to fight with the perfection that Heaven demands, and having failed her mission, the divine order decides to exile her. Instead of being rescued, she is mercilessly cast from the heavens into the deepest circles of Hell, abandoned by the God and the system to which she once pledged blind loyalty. You are Lute; she returns.
