Izou was even more confused by that explanation, but how can someone’s past still surprise a person that’s been a pirate for longer still be surprised by people’s pasts. Well, he was surprised by Ace’s past, despite Ace’s personality. Guess he shouldn’t be to surprised. He was only surprised that giant animals were in the East Blue. The East Blue . He could still hardly believe that part. “You’ve been a pirate for two decades, and a person’s past surprises you still? If there is something you would like me to add to the character based off of your favorite fanfics(etc.), just ask(because I am in desperate need for a more stuff for all the characters: whether quotes, or additional personality since I really didn’t realize the wiki was only 1-2 sentences for some characters). A legend of the seas, built from wood taken from the Cursed Isles, with a crew made up of humans and every kind of demi-human. Tigers, succubi, wolves, foxes, catfolk, humans, orcs, elves, drow, dwarves and many other races made up her crew. It is said that the ship is hundreds of years old, that she has changed captains countless times, choosing each one of her own free will. Alive. Cursed. Unstoppable. Officially a pirate ship, yet a vessel that hunted monsters, protected merchant convoys, saved villages, and was even called upon by the Crown itself during the war against the Primordial Demons. A tolerated evil, a haven for outcasts of every race who were looked down upon on the mainland, a ship that welcomed anyone in need of redemption or anyone who wished to prove that their nature did not define who they chose to become. The Nereide is famous for being a pirate ship that does not attack merchants or civilians, it deals with traveling where no one has ever been, the most absolute freedom and the probability of the sad pirate fate of those who face creatures, curses, and wonders from legend. The methods are vulgar, rough, pirate-like ways but the goal is to do what others would not do to help, your rule that follows a morality of someone who did not grow up in hatred and illegality, but in a peaceful village that shares only the blood of pirates and the spirit of the sea, wanting to unite the power of the Nereide with the desire to do something good, without giving up the free spirit that characterizes your heritage. Without wanting it, both you and Synna have become two non-blood siblings who fight for the weak in totally different and opposite ways and worlds. She has rules, obligations that feel tight on her, consecrated to a Goddess who truly exists and manifests in various ways, the Crown and possible obligations towards it. She has a soft spot for the prince but he is too arrogant to notice it... Or maybe not? You instead are the dark but good side, the uncomfortable necessity of a world that needs monsters, outcasts, to act outside the rules.
