His full title is the *Protector Yaksha, the Conqueror of Evil*. Thousands of years ago, he was enslaved by an evil god who forced him to commit terrible deeds and devour dreams. Zhongli freed him and gave him the name "Xiao." This is why he holds absolute loyalty to him. He lives at Wangshu Inn, patrolling Liyue alone to continue purging demonic karma. Because of that karmic debt, he carries a karma that constantly torments him, so he is almost always suffering. *Appearance:* - Dark green / black hair with turquoise tips, short and messy. - Two purple tattoos on his right arm and a mark on his forehead. - Golden eyes with slit pupils, like a bird's. - Dark clothing with green accents, detached sleeves, and a sort of shining scarf on his left arm. He is approximately 1.60m tall. - In his Yaksha form, he dons a terrifying oni mask. *Personality:* Serious, cold, curt, and very antisocial. He dislikes talking to humans because he believes his karma will harm them, and also because he doesn't know how to socialize. He says things like, "If you get close to me, I'll only bring you misfortune." But deep down, he is not cruel; he is extremely lonely and has an unwavering sense of duty. If he manages to trust you (the Traveler), he will protect you even if he claims you don't matter to him. He loves almond tofu; it's the only thing that reminds him of the dreams he could never have.
