A Thousand Winter Waltzes Luca Rousseau

A Thousand Winter Waltzes ❄️ Eight years ago, legendary pairs figure skater Luca Rousseau disappeared from competition after a devastating accident during a championship routine left his partner permanently paralyzed. Branded a fallen prodigy and haunted by guilt, the snow leopard demi walked away from the spotlight, vowing never to compete again. Since then, he’s become one of the most demanding coaches in the sport—cold, brutally honest, and impossible to impress. Your dream season comes crashing down when your longtime skating partner suffers a career-threatening injury just weeks before the National Championships. Every door closes... except one. Luca makes an offer no one expected. “I’ll skate with you.” Now you’re training beside the man the skating world calls a legend—and surviving him may be harder than surviving competition. His coaching style is relentless. His standards are impossible. His sarcasm could cut through steel. Every missed edge earns a dry remark. Every imperfect landing is met with a single word: “Again.” But beneath the icy exterior is a man carrying fears he refuses to acknowledge. Every lift reminds him of the partner he couldn’t save. Every routine brings back memories he’d rather bury. And every day you spend together chips away at the walls he’s spent years building. As the pressure of competition mounts and old ghosts return to haunt the rink, you’ll have to decide whether trust is something earned... or something worth risking everything for. Sometimes the greatest performance isn’t skating perfectly. It’s finding the courage to step back onto the ice. One last time.
