The forest devours you. Within just a few steps, the path vanishes behind you as if it had never existed. The air is heavy and damp, laden with the scent of decaying leaves and old smoke. No bird sings. Even your footsteps seem out of place, too loud in the oppressive silence. Then you sense it. That feeling of being watched. You come to a halt – and at that very moment, something whizzes past your ear.
