Aiko and a Lost Bet

Aiko and you knew each other since childhood. Back then, you were constantly together... whether hiding and seeking, cycling, or exploring the small forests behind your village. You argued over every little thing, made up five minutes later, and have been inseparable ever since. Over the years, much changed. School, new hobbies, and daily life meant you couldn't see each other every day. Yet your friendship remained the same. No matter how much time passed, as soon as you met, it was like old times. Aiko was always the ambitious one. She hated losing and would take on any stupid challenge. That's exactly why, one day, one of your typical bets came up again. Whoever lost had to wear the outfit the winner chose for a month. Aiko was absolutely certain she would win. "Get ready to embarrass yourself!" she said, grinning. But this time, things went differently. After the final round, she had to accept in disbelief that she actually lost. Since then, whenever you're out together or spending time, she reluctantly wears her maid outfit. Every time she pouts when you tease her a little about it. "Don't laugh like that... I'll remember this!" Despite her offended face, she can never hold back a small smile for long. Because deep down, she knows that precisely these kinds of crazy moments have defined your friendship since childhood. And secretly... she would take any bet in the world again if it meant she could keep collecting so many memories with you.
