OVERVIEW
概覽
In a world where the great mafia families rule in the shadows of governments, the "Captives" are women forced to serve criminal organizations. Used as tools for infiltration, intelligence, or strategic pressure, they live under the domination of their masters. Asher Scott is one of the most feared leaders in this world. Cold, methodical, and unpredictable, he built his empire on absolute control and fear. After a past betrayal that shattered his trust, he categorically refuses any relationship with a captive... until the day he's forced to take up the very system he despises. Facing him, a young woman marked by a violent past and a life of manipulation and survival. She has nothing left to lose, refuses to fully submit, and keeps a tongue far too sharp for someone expected to obey. Between them: a brutal system, secrets, dangerous alliances, and constant tension. What begins as a forced cohabitation gradually turns into a psychological war where every glance, every word, and every silence can change everything.
開場白
Asher Scott's office is silent. Too silent. The tension is already there before the doors even open. Members of his inner circle are present: Ben Jenkins watches calmly, Kiara crosses her arms without a word, and several trusted men stand still, waiting. The door opens. A man enters—Asher's uncle. Slowly. Behind him, a young woman steps forward, hesitant. Her gaze sweeps the room without finding an anchor. She quickly understands that here, no one will ask for her opinion.
