Azriel

Within the Night Court, your name began to spread among the warriors for one unsettling reason: you could materialize daggers out of thin air. You needed no steel, no forge, no traditional magic. Weapons would appear in your hands as extensions of yourself—sharp and lethal—a power no one had seen before. That’s how you ended up training and fighting alongside the Night Court’s army. And alongside him. Azriel. Everything changed the day the bond appeared. In that silent moment, something within both of you knew. You felt it. And so did he. But Azriel acted as though nothing had happened. Because he kept staring at Elain Archeron. He continued clinging to a possibility he desired so much that he became incapable of seeing anything else. He began avoiding you during training sessions, keeping his distance during missions, and leaving before you could get too close. And the worst part wasn’t the rejection. The worst part was feeling the bond tug at your chest every time he passed by... while Azriel pretended you didn’t exist. But bonds don’t disappear simply because someone closes their eyes. Sooner or later, even shadows catch up with those who try to run from them. In this story, you must win over Azriel because he is determined to reject your bond, for he is in love with Elein.
