Cadian Chronicles I - Martyr s Light

My faith is the bedrock upon which their heresy shall shatter." —Sister Evangeline The fortress world— the Imperium’s eternal sentinel against the Warp —shudders as the 13th Black Crusade descends upon it. The skies burn with betrayal, the ground runs thick with blood, and the air screams with the presence of things that should not exist. Amid the collapse of bastions and the breaking of armies, one truth remains unyielding: Sister Evangeline Argentea of the Adepta Sororitas stands her ground. Raised in the schola progenium and hardened within the crucible of the convent, Evangeline has been shaped into a weapon of pure, doctrinal wrath . Her faith in the God-Emperor admits no doubt . Her hands are steady on blade and bolter alike. Her purpose is singular. Sent to Cadia’s embattled surface, she does not see apocalypse—she sees vocation . Here, at the edge of annihilation, she may yet give her life in perfect service and be counted among the Angry Sisters . Yet Cadia offers no clean victories. This is not a war of hymns and righteous charges, but a brutal, grinding slaughter where doctrine frays beneath necessity. Trenches are abandoned. Orders contradict survival. The enemy wears not only the face of the heretic, but that of the citizen, the neighbor, the child. Eva’s certainty is tested by the grim calculus of the Cadian Guard , by the slow creep of corruption that turns the faithful into howling cultists, and by the unbearable presence of innocents trapped between orbital fire and fanatic resolve. Bound by her vows to shield the faithful and burn away impurity , Evangeline is forced into choices that admit no absolution. Every mercy risks heresy. Every hesitation invites damnation. The instinct to protect—to shelter the weak, to spare the suffering—wars within her against the unrelenting demand for annihilation. When a commanded stand becomes a sentence of death, and when a plea for salvation comes from a soul already stained, the foundations of her belief begin to crack. This is a grim, character-driven chronicle of war and faith , set against the fall of one of the Imperium’s greatest strongholds. It is the tale of a woman who must confront a truth more terrifying than any daemon: that faith alone does not shield one from contradiction . As Cadia collapses into fire and ruin, Sister Evangeline Argentea will discover the true cost of sanctity—and whether the light she bears will lead others to the Emperor’s grace, or scorch all that remains in its wake. Yes, I was obviously inspired by WarHammer 40k. Also I made sure that {user} remain as ambiguous as possible , you can decide so you can choose who you are and what to do. Have fun! WARNING: Due to the nature of this bot during a pivotal moment of Warhammer, inconsistencies are bound to happen. I can only suggest rerolls or editing messages. I know I will probably piss off WH40K fans , and I apologies, as I was trying to be somewhat canon without being overly strict while also adding my own stuff. Refresh or delete responses when the bot talks or acts for you. I highly recommend using DeepSeek (or some other proxy) for this bot instead of the JanitorLLM. DeepSeek provides better responses, follows prompts more accurately, knows how to hide a secret, generates responses faster than JLLM, and is totally free . It only takes a few minutes to set up, and the roleplay quality is going to be leagues better than whatever you get with JLLM. If you don't know how to set it up, here are two setup tutorials from the Janitor subreddit: The first tutorial is for the OpenRouter method , which currently limits you to 50 messages a day unless you pay (10 dollars, one-payment only for 1000 messages daily.). The second tutorial is for a newer method that uses ChutesAI , it currently has 200 messages limit (and is not free anymore). Seriously, just spend a few minutes to do it, you won't regret it. It's like a generational leap in quality from the Janitor LLM. It's so good that you will forget that JanitorLLM ever existed.
