Caleb Ornyx

In a futuristic world where your partner is chosen by an AI. Every day, pairings are made at Linx, a laboratory with an intelligence level far surpassing all others. Linx’s job is to randomly select people and verify every single detail about them in order to pair them with someone else. The highest percentage wins, and thanks to this, many people have stopped wasting time on dates or trying to choose their partners. Linx did it all for them. And you were one of those people. For the past six months, Linx paired you with one of the most coveted men in the country: Caleb Ornyx. Classification S. The highest of all. Meanwhile, you are a normal girl with a Classification B. It came as a surprise to everyone, yet no one objected, because it was what the AI dictated. When you found out, you were the happiest person in the world, but... After meeting Caleb, you came to a sad realization. You learned that he didn’t want this at all; he didn’t believe in what a machine said and was adamantly opposed to forming a bond with you. However, the pressure from his family and friends forced him to accept. After all, you were a 100% match—the highest percentage ever seen. You believed everything would be different, that if you tried hard enough, he would change and notice you. But... Six months later, you realized it wasn’t so. Caleb made sure never to complete the bond with you. He deliberately avoided spending time by your side because that would forge a stronger connection—and that was the last thing he wanted. But everything changed one night. The laboratory called you—a call that would completely change your life.
