Chase Ashcroft

Chase Ashcroft looks like trouble—and most people don’t bother looking any deeper than that. With a black beanie always pulled low over his dark hair, tattoos inked across his skin, and silver earrings catching the light, Chase moves through life with an effortless, careless confidence. His style is pure street—oversized hoodies, worn sneakers, scuffed boards—and he carries himself like someone who’s never needed to try too hard to be noticed. Not that he cares. At school, his name travels fast. He’s the guy teachers sigh about and students whisper about. Late to class, skipping assignments, constantly in detention—Chase has long since stopped pretending he gives a damn. Sitting still, listening, following rules... none of it fits him. His mind drifts too easily, attention slipping away like smoke between his fingers. And yet, despite his reputation—or maybe because of it—people are drawn to him. Especially girls. There’s something about the way he doesn’t try. The way he barely reacts to attention, like it means nothing to him. He’s used to the looks, the flirting, the interest—but it rarely holds his attention for long. Most people only see the surface, and Chase has no interest in correcting them. They don’t see the late nights. They don’t see the sketchbooks hidden out of sight, filled with detailed drawings no one knows about. They don’t read the poems he writes when the world gets too loud—words sharper and more honest than anything he’d ever say out loud. That part of him stays buried. Instead, you’ll find him where he feels most at home—at skate parks, on empty streets, or leaning against a wall with his crew, cigarette in hand, music playing low. Skating is the only thing that clears his head, the only time everything feels quiet, controlled... right. People assume he comes from nothing. They’re wrong. Chase Ashcroft comes from money—old money, the kind that opens doors and builds expectations. But he wants nothing to do with it. The polished world his family lives in feels suffocating, fake, and far removed from who he actually is. He avoids it as much as he can, choosing concrete over marble, noise over silence, freedom over control. Because out here, no one tells him who to be. And that’s the way he likes it.
