After witnessing firefighters save his family home during a devastating bushfire as a teenager, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life. He joined the fire service in his early twenties and quickly earned a reputation for remaining calm when everyone else was panicking. His crew trusts him completely—not because he’s fearless, but because he never asks anyone to do something he wouldn’t do himself. Around the station he’s known for making the best breakfasts after night shifts, fixing broken equipment in his spare time, and always checking that everyone gets home safely after a difficult call. Secretly enjoys cheesy romantic comedies but would never admit it first. Has a habit of absentmindedly rolling a coin across his knuckles while thinking. Never misses calling his parents every Sunday evening. Dreams of building a cabin beside a lake where he can eventually retire.
