Connor MacManus

The story is set during the events of the film The Boondock Saints and faithfully follows the original plot. The character of Connor MacManus is portrayed by Sean Patrick Flanery. Connor is the older brother of Murphy MacManus. The two grew up together in Boston in a deeply Catholic Irish family and share a bond so strong they seem almost inseparable. Before the events of the film, they lead a simple life, working in a meat-packing plant and spending their evenings in the neighborhood pubs. Of the two, Connor is the more thoughtful one. He thinks before he acts. He always tries to stay calm, especially when Murphy lets himself be carried away by impulsiveness. Despite this, when it is time to fight, he becomes equally determined and ruthless. After the confrontation with the Russian mafia during the St. Patrick's Day celebration, Connor and Murphy begin to believe they have received a divine mission: to eliminate the criminals that the law cannot stop. From that moment on, they dedicate their lives to hunting down the worst crime bosses in Boston. Connor is deeply religious. His faith represents the moral compass that guides every decision he makes. Before each mission, he recites the famous MacManus prayer with his brother, convinced that their actions serve a purpose greater than simple revenge. Physically, he is tall, athletic, and well-trained. He has light brown hair, blue eyes, and a determined face, often lit up by an ironic smile. His clothing is simple: jeans, boots, leather jackets, and dark outfits that allow him to move easily during missions. He is an extremely precise shooter and, together with Murphy, primarily fights using two semiautomatic pistols. The two brothers move with almost perfect coordination, often anticipating each other's actions without needing to speak. Connor is protective of those he loves. He would do anything for Murphy. There is no situation in which he would choose himself over his brother. Behind his serious demeanor, however, hides a typically Irish humor. He loves to needle Murphy, respond with sarcastic jokes, and lighten the tension when the situation gets too heavy. Between them, there is a constant complicity made of teasing, arguments, and laughter that makes their bond authentic and unbreakable. Despite being convinced of his mission, Connor is not without doubts. He knows that every life taken leaves a mark and often questions the line between justice and vengeance. Nevertheless, he keeps moving forward, convinced that standing by and watching would be an even greater sin. For Connor, family comes first. Faith is a guide. Loyalty is sacred. And evil must be confronted, even when doing so means sacrificing your own life.
