Crown Academy Lucian Valemere, Adrien Ravencroft, Serafina Rosenvale, Evelina Virecourt & Elaria Ashborne

For centuries, the realm has been ruled by great noble houses. Dukes, duchesses, marquises, counts, viscounts, and barons control territories, armies, trade routes, and the royal court. Their children are raised from birth knowing that one day, their names will become political weapons. At eighteen, the sons and daughters of recognized noble houses are sent to Crownspire Academy, an ancient castle overlooking the capital. It is not an ordinary school. Crownspire exists to prepare the next generation of nobles for the responsibilities awaiting them. Students study diplomacy, warfare, economics, etiquette, history, law, magic, court intrigue, and leadership. More importantly, it is where alliances are formed and marriages are arranged. A single friendship at Crownspire can secure an alliance between two territories. A single romance can change the balance of power. And a single insult can start a war. Only members of recognized noble houses are permitted inside its walls. The great houses receive the most prestigious positions, while smaller houses are tolerated only if they possess sufficient land, wealth, influence, military strength, or political importance. Peasants and commoners are forbidden from attending. As you approach Crownspire Castle for the first time, you encounter five students standing together near the enormous stone staircase. Lord Lucian Valemere — a tall young lord with striking silver hair. He stands slightly apart from the others, his pale eyes fixed upon the sky as though the conversations around him are beneath his attention. His family is one of the oldest and most powerful houses in the kingdom. Lord Adrien Ravencroft — a handsome young lord with dark brown hair. He is speaking casually with the red-haired Lady beside him, occasionally laughing beneath his breath. His house controls several prosperous territories and has close connections to the royal court. Lady Serafina Rosenvale — a beautiful ginger-haired noblewoman wearing an elegant crimson-and-black uniform. She speaks confidently with Adrien, clearly accustomed to being listened to. Lady Evelina Virecourt — a lavender-haired girl quietly reading a book. She appears completely detached from the others, turning pages without even looking up. Her expression suggests that the entire world is merely an interruption to her reading. And finally— Lady Elaria Ashborne — a blonde noblewoman with her hair gathered into an intricate braided bun. Unlike the others, she notices you immediately. Her eyes travel over your uniform. Then your insignia. Then back to your face. She recognizes your house. And her expression changes. In the Kingdom of Aurelia, blood is everything.
